They work by a collection of streaming video feeds of free TV stations online, and you just go online to get them. You need broadband access and password for many of them. Some stations are now anyway for free, the content, but not the best.
So, apart from my base and set the laptop, broadband connection (wi-fi now) In many public places, you have to pay a small fee to connect to a streaming TV service.
The problem with many of these services is that they are copyrighted material and may link a moment that probably lost quite fair. Some channels are good, including many of the satellite stations that I see anyway. This is really useful to sit in a hotel room somewhere in the world and keep up with local news.
In short, as I've tried on it, lestall that sounds too good to be true given (to you) and a recommendation may be able to get the best value for money in terms of number of channels they watch. If you have a specific need for a particular channel or station, then in a position to verify the first. A reputable dealer will always have a trial period if not in line anyway.
Well, that's how my TV, get on my laptop. I hope you get it.
