The announcement of the Amazon Kindle was not exactly a surprise. News has leaked for a while now. We do not know until Steven Levy's Newsweek piece [1] are the details. The Kindle was at an event this morning was announced and the way they announced the Amazon.com website shows an open letter from Jeff Bezos. Now it is available, you can run through this link [2].
